Copper Mosaic Tiles

Copper mosaic tiles are comprised of a ceramic base with a copper capping and makes for an interesting and unique kitchen splashback.

Care for copper wall mosaic tiles is as simple as an occasional wipe over in olive oil to prevent tarnish. Alternatively there are brass and copper lacquer sprays which are available from paint supplies stores, this method is recommended for bathroom walls.

Copper tiles can be cut with a tilers electric water cooled saw, or alternatively an angle grinder. Angle grinders can sometimes leave scorch marks which then need to be buffed off, which is why a water cooled tile saw is the better option if available.

Use a non-sanded grout.
